In this totorial i am going to show you haw to connect your wave via USB cable in order access internet on your PC. To use my wave as a modem for my PC follow these steps:
Firstly, you need to change setting of you wave.
On phone:
Go to menu then select settings-->connectivity-->USB. Set to internet PC or ask on connection.
Select settings then connectivity then mobile AP. This does not need to be turned on unless connecting via wi-fi wirelessly but you need to note that internet password and username listed here under settings.
Make sure phone isn't connected to internet itself already.
Connect your phone with USB cable into PC and Phone.
On PC:
After connection is established ,now when the internet connection wizard gives you a box asking for the connection Username and Password, enter the ones you noted from the phone.
Please, Ensure that the modem is set to Samsung mobile modem under properties/general for the new connection.
If that does'nt works, the connection attempt fails, turn the phone off and back on and try again !
